lyrics
Still waters run deep
Why do you always hide from me
How do you keep
all your troubles underneath
Emotion is a wild thing
I'm trying not to feel it
We get on
yeah somehow we get by
We're alright cos
Love runs deep
Deeper than the darker sea
So drop your guard
Why do you have to be so hard
Those paper dolls
Hold each other by the hand
One cut and they break
I'm trying to make you understand
Emotion is a wild thing
Together we can tame it
Look again
Don't you realise
It's in my eyes
Love runs deep
Deeper than the darker sea
So drop your guard
Why do you have to be so hard
I wasn't asking you to open up
to open up
It's not my business anyway
It's just that when you're hurting
It's like I'm always searching
for the right words to say
We have an un-spoken rule
that you're always so cruel
Maybe I'm wrong to believe
but in my dreams
Our love runs deep
deeper than the darker sea
So drop your guard
Why do you have to be so hard
Our love runs deep
Deeper than the darker sea
So drop your guard
Why do you have to be so hard

If not my money problem I would have bought the CD version. The moment i heared "Child" it was clear to me, that I need more. My fav is "Not enough", because it takes a different approach on beeing alone. pikolowet

Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

As several of the other reviewers have stated, Leah does seem to have progressed from 'Of Earth and Angels'.
The 'Do Not Stand ...' track initially attracted me as my partner loves the poem. It is indeed atmospheric. I found though that the whole EP is enjoyable. I think the 'Kings & Queens' album will find it's way into my collection sooner rather than later. Russell Whyman
